The Regular Sandcast Bronze Single Cylinder Deadbolt is a great way to add a touch of the old world to your doors without it looking ancient. This Regular Deadbolt manages to look all at once traditional and contemporary, in a beautiful blending of the old and new. It will fit doors with 2-3/4 inch or 2-3/8 inch backsets with thicknesses ranging from 1-3/8 inches to 3 inches. This is a single cylinder deadbolt so the latch is thrown and retracted by a thumb turn on the interior and by a key from the exterior.

Sandcasting is a process for casting metal in sand molds. The mold is made by packing the sand around a pattern. Molten bronze is then poured into a mold cavity formed out of sand. Each sand mold is used only once. The sand is then recycled for the next piece.
