The Bommer HS83HD is an 83-inch Half Surface Continuous Gear Hinge designed for heavy-duty applications. This hinge is utilized during door retrofits, renovations, and new construction where door mortising is impractical.
The half-surface installation requires applying the door frame jamb flange to the door frame end surface and the door flange to the door face. The hinge is supplied complete with mounting hardware, including specialized screws for both the door frame and door side flanges.
