Acorn's mortise cylinder lockset has a simple rectangular design and an antique looking lever that work well with each other to form a timeless piece that will look great in almost any decor. Created by using the techniques of the traditional forge, the Simple Mortise Entryset with Lever is fabricated with a rare craftsmanship reminiscent of a time when expert anvil artisans, hammer in hand, transformed pure iron into beautiful yet functional designs. The uneven surface of this iron handleset duplicates that found on the ironwork of many European castles and cathedrals by imitating the texture of naturally weathered iron. It is good for doors with 1-3/4 inch to 3 inch thicknesses. Available in single cylinder or dummy functions.

When Selecting a Function:

• Dummy Handleset: Blank trim for non-working doors that does not have a turnpiece or a cylinder. It does not latch and does not lock. Usually used as matching trim for the non-working side of double doors.
• Single Cylinder Handleset: A key operates the deadbolt from the exterior while a thumbturn operates it from the interior. The latch is operated by a lever from both the exterior and the interior. Panic Proof: Turning of inside lever will retract both deadbolt and latchbolt at the same time.
