Oval Plate Egg Knob Mortise Lockset is built to withstand heavy use. It is commercial grade, UL listed, and fire rated. The mortise locks combines precision engineering for security and durability with attractive design.

Each set contains door knobs, backplates, mortise latchset, spindle, and all necessary screws and templates. Key functions are supplied with lock cylinder/s and turnpiece as applicable.

• Deadbolt: Full 1" Throw, Solid Brass with Saw-proof Insert.

When Selecting a Function:

• Dummy Pair: Stationary both sides of door. Fixed knobs, non-functioning. Used as door pulls or to match trim.
• Passage (Hall / Closet): Latchbolt operates by knob from either side.
• Privacy (Bathroom / Bedroom): Latchbolt operates by knob from either side. Deadbolt by turnpiece inside and emergency key outside. Turning inside knob will retract both deadbolt and latchbolt at the same time.
• Single Cylinder Entry: Latchbolt operates by knob from either side except when outside trim is locked by stop-button; then opens by key outside, by knob inside. Deadbolt activated by key outside and by turnpiece inside.
• Double Cylinder Entry: Latchbolt operates by knob from either side except when outside trim is locked by stop-button; then opens by key outside, by knob inside. Deadbolt activated only by key from either side.
• Panic Proof Entry: Latchbolt operates by knob from either side except when outside trim is locked by stop-button. Deadbolt activated by key outside and by turnpiece inside. Turning inside knob will retract both deadbolt and latchbolt at the same time.
• Storeroom: Latchbolt operates by knob inside and by key outside. The outside knob is rigid. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks latchbolt.
