This One Sided Deadbolt is used for locking and unlocking doors from the interior only. This Single Sided Sandcast Bronze Deadbolt uses a thumbturn inside but it does not go through to the outside of the door making it great for back exit doors where you do not want an exposed lock for security purposes. The rectangular shape brings the Sandcast Bronze Thumbturn Only Deadbolt into this century, but the softer lines with the rounded edge keeps it from looking too modern. The Sandcast Bronze Thumbturn Only Deadbolt will fit doors 1-5/8 inches to 3-3/8 inches thick with 2-3/4 inch or 2-3/8 inch backsets.

Single Sided Deadbolt: The deadbolt thrown or retracted from interior side only. There is no plate or exposed trim on the exterior.
