These 95" long Full Mortise, Short Leaf Flush, Continuous Gear Hinges are normally used in new construction and are applied as to conceal both hinge leaves. Also used in renovations and the leaves will cover existing standard door hinge preps. Full Mortise Hinge - The frame leaf is fastened to the door frame jamb. Door leaf is fastened to the door edge. Short Leaf Flush - Door and Frame are flush.

Bommer FM95SLF-HD Short Leaf Flush - 95" Continuous Gear Hinges are packaged complete with mounting hardware. All fasteners are #12-24 x 7/16" Type C , FHUC screws that are self threading.

Unlike a conventional hinge, a Continuous Geared Aluminum hinge has no pin. Also, it is not like a "piano" hinge either, which has 50% of each knuckle cut away, and depends on a thin wire to hold each leaf together.

A Continuous Geared Aluminum hinge consists of two full-height, paired and geared leafs. Each geared leaf rotates evenly from top to bottom, riding on superior Delrin Teflon bearings. The geared leafs and bearings are held together by a full length channel cap. This assembly retains the smooth, clean lines of the door and frame, while easily supporting heavy doors.
