The Full Mortise Pocket Pivot Hinge is typically used in corridors that have doorways such as in hospitals, high rise buildings, and hotels. It allows the door to swing open 90° so that it can lay flush with the wall to keep the doorway clear. Each pivot can bear 90 lbs. Doors 5 feet to 7-1/2 feet tall need three pivots with an additional pivot needed for every 2-1/2 feet. Built to last, this Commercial Pocket Door Pivot made by ABH features heavy duty stainless steel needle bearings and are UL listed for use on 3-hour fired rated doors. It has a Satin Stainless Steel finish.

A minimum of three pocket pivots need to be used on doors 60" - 90" tall. Simply add one pivot per each additional 30" in door height. Each pivot has a 90 pound weight limit.
