The Adams Rite 1830 is a Narrow Stile Bottom Rail Deadlock designed for storefront applications, fitting doors with ultra-narrow stiles or tempered glass and shallow bottom rails. This unit features ANSI Grade 1 lock security.
The deadlock accepts standard Mortise Thumbturns and Mortise Lock Cylinders, provided the cylinder is a 1-5/32” mortise cylinder with an MS dimensioned cam. The case is constructed of corrosion-resistant plated steel, while the bolt is six-ply laminated steel. The non-handed key is removable only when the bolt is in a positively locked or unlocked position.
