The Rockwood 557 x 19BFB Lever Extension Flush Bolt with Bottom Fire Bolt is designed for select fire rated plastic and wood covered fire doors. This unit maintains door strength while providing a bottom fire bolt that eliminates the need for floor preparation.

The system accommodates slight door misalignment via an oversized fire bolt strike hole. When subjected to 230˚F, the plug and black plastic cover melt, allowing the bolt to project and lock the door leaves together.

The [19BFB] corner reinforcing plate is also available for purchase separately to maintain door strength.
