The Rockwood 557 Lever Extension Flush Bolt is designed for fire-rated plastic and wood covered doors. Constructed from cast brass, this unit maintains door strength using a corner reinforcing plate and is compatible with our 570 Dust Proof Strike.
This flush bolt is engineered for doors measuring up to 4'w x 10'h and rated up to and including 1-1/2 hours. The 3/4" backset allows for precise alignment and operation, ideal for high-traffic applications where door stability is critical.
The unit accepts optional Torx security screws to discourage tampering and is available with a bottom fire bolt, such as the 557x19BFB.
