El DETEX FV40EE-36 es un dispositivo antipánico de salida retardada de 36", diseñado para proporcionar una función de salida con alarma de 100 dB para la seguridad de puertas primarias o secundarias. Incorpora un mecanismo de retardo de 15 segundos que se activa al intentar salir, lo que da tiempo para la respuesta de seguridad.

Este dispositivo es adecuado para puertas cortafuegos de madera, fibra de vidrio y metal hueco. Según los requisitos de seguridad contra incendios, el EE debe conectarse a una entrada de alarma contra incendios para proporcionar una anulación del sistema durante una emergencia por incendio. La unidad tiene certificación ANSI/BHMA Grado 1 y cumple con las normas U.L. 10C y UBC 7-2 (1997).
