is a stainless steel security pin mortise latch guard designed for outswing doors, providing anti-spread protection against tampering and latch prying in residential and commercial applications. Can be used with most mortise locks and cylindrical lock sets with up to a 3-3/4 inch backset. Standard for 1-3/4 inch door thickness.
This latch protector features a solid stainless pin, .30" x .48," welded to the back of the plate, which embeds into the door frame upon closure to prevent door spreading and unauthorized access.
