Double Door Coordinator, Don-Jo 2080-626
Drop arm type double door coordinator for use on a pair of doors with an astragal on the active door. When both the inactive and active doors are open the coordinator prevents the active door from closing until inactive door bypasses it. Closing of the inactive door causes the strike plate on top of the door to contact the cam and lift the coordinator arm. When the coordinator arm lifts, the active door can close. As the inactive door continues closing, the nylon roller wheel on the cam rides over the strike plate onto inactive door bracket, holding the coordinator arm above the active door.
