The Glynn-Johnson 280 Series Sensaguard is a self-contained, battery-powered detector and holder designed to allow fire doors to be held open while maintaining required fire codes.
The unit features an ionization chamber that detects smoke or combustion particles. Upon detection, the unit triggers the release mechanism, allowing the door closer to cycle the door shut.
The 280 Sensaguard is non-handed and mounts on either the push or pull side of the door. Available finishes include Clear Anodized Aluminum and Dark Bronze Anodized Aluminum.
