The Rockwood 2840 Automatic Flush Bolt (Top Bolt Only) is designed for use on select fire rated metal doors (A, B, C, D, E types up to 4'w x 8'h). This non-handed unit provides fully automatic operation, including retraction of top and bottom bolts, and features a thermal lock to enhance fire containment during high heat conditions.
The unit includes an override feature that prevents damage to the door or bolt if bolt heads are obstructed from entering strikes. Installation is simple, requiring only 10 ea. #8 x 3/4" FH combo screws, and the adjustable bolt head rods allow for precise fitting during installation.
