The Acorn Whale Tail Tip Strap Hinge is a heavy-duty, 30-inch strap hinge designed for high-load applications such as garages, barns, and gates. Hand forged using traditional hammer and anvil techniques, this hinge provides both structural function and authentic visual detail.

Constructed from zinc and acrylic powder-coated material, the hinge features a black iron finish and is supplied with stainless steel square head lags for installation. It is rated for 600 pounds per pair and has been tested to 1,000 pounds without failure.
