The Bommer 2990 is a 2-3/4" Half Surface Spring Hinge designed for screen doors. This single-acting hinge allows the door to automatically return to the closed position.
Installation requires the door flange to be surface applied and the jamb flange to be mortised into the door jamb. The included tension tool and locking pins enable adjustment of the closing force, allowing you to determine the door's self-closing speed. Sold as a pair, the hinge is constructed of steel and available in finishes including Oil Rubbed Bronze.
