Service 1

Keyed alike — one key for multiple locks

Keyed alike means all your locks — or specific groups of locks — are keyed to operate with the same key. Ideal for businesses and residences that want to eliminate carrying multiple keys. We can key any combination of locks in an order to work with the same key, or key separate groups differently.

Service 2

Master keying — control access by person or role

A master key system allows different keys to open different combinations of locks, while one master key opens all of them. This is one of the most useful and underutilized security tools available.

Home Master Keying

Give friends, family, or service personnel a key that opens your front door but not your home office, bedroom, or storage room. You carry one master key that opens everything — they carry a key that only opens what you want them to access.

Seasonal Rental Properties

Give renters access to living quarters, the gate, and pool areas — but not lawn equipment or supply closets. Give housekeeping access to living areas and laundry but not maintenance buildings. The owner's grandmaster key opens everything.

Service 3

Grandmaster keying — multi-level access for large buildings

Used extensively on commercial locks in condo and apartment buildings, hotels, and office buildings. Multiple levels of access are created so each department only has access to the areas they need.

Example — Hotel or Apartment Building

Maintenance staff — access to HVAC closets, electrical rooms, elevator maintenance areas

Housekeeping — access to laundry areas, cleaning equipment and supplies; not mechanical areas

Residents/guests — access to their unit and common areas only

Building manager — grandmaster key opens all locks on the property

Grandmaster systems require careful planning. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements before ordering.

Service 4

Construction keying — secure during build, re-key at handoff

We offer construction keying using the "lost ball" technique — one of the most convenient services available to the construction, hospitality, and rental industries.

1

During construction, the crew uses a construction key to secure the property at the end of each day.

2

At project completion, the owner inserts their key and turns it once — this permanently changes the key code and renders the construction key useless. No locksmith needed.

3

For rental properties, the key code can be changed up to six times before a locksmith is needed to rekey — ideal for tenant turnover.

High Security Keying

Mul-T-Lock restricted key systems

We are an authorized preferred dealer for Mul-T-Lock high security restricted key lock systems. With a restricted key system, a credit-card sized key card is issued to the lock owner — only the person with that card can have duplicate keys made, and only at an authorized dealer location.

Mul-T-Lock's advanced telescopic pin design (pin-within-a-pin) resists even the most determined picking attempts. We offer full keying, master keying, duplicate key cutting, and rekeying of existing Mul-T-Lock cylinders.
