The KABA Simplex 1041 is a heavy-duty Keypad Entry Lock designed for high-security institutional and commercial applications. It features a Passage function and Key Override, enabling door entry via the numeric keypad or a physical key.
The lock accommodates door thicknesses ranging from 1-3/8" to 2-1/4" and utilizes a 2-3/4" backset. Construction includes a cast cylinder housing and a vandal-resistant, mechanical 5-button keypad in anodized aluminum. The unit also achieves a three-hour UL/ULC fire rating for "A" labeled doors.

Easily installs on wood or metal doors with standard ASA 161 door preparation. 1" diameter for combination change, 1/4" for mounting lock, 1" diameter cross bore for latch.

Passage Feature
Allows access without using the lock entry code. Activated when required with the inside key or thumbturn.
