The DETEX FV40EE-36 is a 36" Delayed Egress Panic Device, engineered to provide a 100 dB alarm exit function for primary or secondary door security. It incorporates a 15-second delay mechanism activated upon exit attempt, allowing time for security response.

This device is suitable for wood, fiberglass, and hollow metal fire-rated doors. Per life safety requirements, the EE must be connected to a fire alarm input to provide a system override during a fire emergency. The unit is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified and complies with U.L. 10C and UBC 7-2 (1997) standards.
