The Deltana EFB Extension Flush Bolt, also known as a door edge bolt, is installed into the edge of the door. A toggle lever is used to push the attached rod and bolt into a header or threshold, which locks or unlocks an inactive door.

The complete assembly includes the flush bolt, extension rod, matching finish screws, strike plate, and bolt guide. The design features a unique cam mechanism that allows a smooth, spring-less sliding action, while the guide prevents the bolt from rotating.
