The Global ED-VR531-AL Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device is a Grade 1 touch bar exit device designed for commercial and heavy-duty industrial applications.
It is suited for installation on hollow metal or wood doors where no projection exists on the door face, supporting single or double door applications in widths ranging from 26" to 36".
The unit achieves compliance with U.L./U.L.C. and U.L. 10C and UBC 7-2 (1997) for positive pressure, utilizing high strength stainless steel for its latches, springs, and guides.
