The Octagon Mortise Entry Set is a great way to add a piece of timeless beauty to your front door. This solid bronze Octagon Mortise Entrance Lockset has a unique design that grants it a retro feel. The covered deadbolt completes the look with the attention to detail you'd expect from Emtek. The single cylinder ANSI F20 mortise box can be toggled to lock automatically upon closing the door. The Ornate Octagon Mortise Entrance Handleset will fit either 2-1/2 inch or 2-3/4 inch backsets and can accommodate doors from 1-3/4 inches to 2-3/4 inches thick. This classic door handle is available in either a flat black bronze finish or a medium bronze finish.

Features of the Emtek Octagon Entryset and the ANSI F20 Heavy Duty Lock Body: Keyway: Schlage C UL 180 minute fire rating Deadlocking latch bolt with saw-proof inserts. Anti-pick security latch. When the deadbolt is engaged, the outside thumb press is automatically locked. The latch bolt is retracted by the knob or lever on either side, except when the outside thumb press is locked by stop button, then it can only be opened from the exterior by use of the key. Making it ideal for doors you want to automatically lock. This feature can be easily toggled on and off by pressing the stop and release button on the mortise box face. Operating the interior trim retracts both the deadbolt and the latch bolt for emergency egress.

When Selecting a Function:

• Full Dummy Set: Trim for non-working doors. It does not latch and does not lock. Usually used as matching trim for the non-working side of double doors.
• Single Cylinder: From the exterior, a knob/lever operates the handleset latch and a key operates the deadbolt. From the inside, a thumbturn unlocks the deadbolt and a knob/lever operates the latch.
