When choosing a function:
- Dummy Handleset: For use as a pull or to match trim. Non-functioning, non locking.
- Single Cylinder: Functioning, with key cylinder on outside and thumb turn on inside.
- Double Cylinder: Instead of having a thumb turn on the inside, you would use a key. (Basically, it's a Deadbolt.)
- For instance, if you have double doors on an entrance, you would order two of these to match, one would be a dummy, the other would be functioning, with a lock. On a single door entrance, you need the one with a lock.
NOTE: When you choose a finish, it applies to both the interior and exterior hardware.
